Perfect pass went crazy

Hello,

Last week may wife and i where boarding, when my turn came the water looks like a mirror but when the first turn came (to the right) the boat just went to a stop. i was still floating the rope went lose sunddenly the boat accelerate to a very high speed (i dídn´t know how fast because my eyes where hiting the sea). Returning to the marina i notice that readings at the perfect pass gone crazy from 45 Mph, tu 4 Mph then 18 Mph in just a 3 second period, later i found that the socket that holds together the sensor (or however it calls) with the computer was too close to the bottom of the bilge geting wet specially in right turns, i fix it just by cleaning the socket and place it far from the water.
