Fuse rating for Harpoon Amp?
in the near future I am going to be redoing some wiring so all my + leads for the amps, etc are connected to the Perko (except starter and bilge pump).
For those of you who are using a fuse between the amp and the battery, what rating are you using?
Any recommendations for a good, cheap distribution box (non-metered) that would handle many output side positive and ground wires?

Generally for the line that supplies the distro block you add all the fuses up for all the amps and put a fuse larger in.
Typically though I see 120 amp or 250 amp installed in the main line.
I still run Harpoon, 2 800.4 and 2500.1 so I use a 250.
I just installed Millerdad stereo with the new Digi annoys and only used a 120amp.Malo <--- Means--Evil or Mean One. This explains a lot.

Use 100A to 125A fuse for the amp when running the recommended 4 gauge wire to the amp. Use 250A fuse when running the recommended 1/0 wire to the distribution block.

Wow 250A.
yes, I am using 1/0 wire from battery to current distribution block.
4 gauge from distribution block to amp.
