    Default Removal of registration numbers?

    Hair dryer? heat gun?

After a ridiculous 10 weeks of waiting with some "dealing with morons" mixed in the SC DNR finally got me my registration and numbers. I have reg numbers from 3dlettering currently and ordered new ones from there as well.

Wondering if a hair dryer will work ok because I don't have a heat gun and really can't spend any money to buy one.

Yes. But it does take a little longer. Use some acetone or mineral spirits to get the residue off. WD 40 works too but wash with soap and water (should probably do that with any of these) and dry before applying the new ones.

All my decals came off on a warm day with a hair dryer and goo-off. I was suprised at how easily so.

    Default Removal of registration numbers?

Hair dryer did the trick just fine. Removed glue with acetone.

New numbers still not here and now this is the THIRD weekend in a row without being on the water. I hope it keeps raining so I won't be so bummed.

Hope it's not the numbers keeping you off the water. YOu can make them (temp) with masking tape and get out there.

Amazing idea Kane, I had never thought of that and now come to think of it Blue Painter's tape would probably have worked. My numbers finally came in on Saturday morning and the weather was a bust anyways so we got out on Sunday and it was a fantastic day. It felt real good to get out, I didn't ride but just being on the boat was nice.
