btw, even more evidence my boat was built a on Friday afternoon...

every screw for the rub rail i assume missed the mark on the inside of the boat that it was supposed to go into...

well my adventure into goo gone and the rear storage lockers has not been fun.. the amount of gooey glue that balls up.. and keeps appearing is unbearable.. no way to scrape it off has left me wondering why i started this..

Mine only had a little residue. Most of it came up with the carpet. I put my new mats down over what was left. I did not glue them cuz I want to be able to take them out and wash them real good every couple of months. Not like they are going to blow out or anything.

Acetone, or MEK will work better than goo gone.

Will it wreck the raw inside fiberglass?

I used a lot of acetone with my hydroturf clean up. I think you are good to go. On my big stainless gas tank cover panels I ended up using a lot of mineral spirits. That worked pretty good too. Not sure on the fiberglass though.
