Default 2014 newbie needs Mobius advice

    Hello to everyone!

My name is Don and I am new to the Moomba forums. Screen name is variador. (Don was taken)
My daughter and I want to buy a mobius. She worked as a ski/wakebaord instructor at a girls camp in Wisconsin for 6 yrs. The last 2 years was with a Moomba Mobius.
This is the boat we are interested in.

    Any opinions would be appreciated.
I am concerned with the price since the Moomba online info says the starting price in 2006 for a Mobius was $35,000.
We are planning on keeping it till 2022 and selling it for $40,000. We plan to use it gently too.

    Any advice?

    Thanks
    Don

Welcome! Boat looks good but priced too high for those options. It's prime selling season so prices are on the high end but still.

Way over priced, wait 2 months and pick one up for under $30. That one doesn't even have perfect pass.. Also look nationally and have it shipped if needed, claz.org is the best site and search tempest.com

I gotta ask....how do you sell a 16 year old boat for more than the original MSRP? Typo?

In your search for the Mobius, look for one on a tandem axle trailer.

Our dealer sold our 06 LSV for $31k this May. It had pp and about 180 hours. This one it to high. Inflation might allow you to sell for what you have in it later but not almost $10k more. For $35k you could find a better optioned 08/ 09

I bought my '07 last Oct for $29k with 225 hours. In good shape, no ballast upgrades, but had some decent stereo work done.
