    Default Hyperlite system bindings

Good in theory, but I can't make myself like them. Boots aren't comfortable, laces don't stay tight, not enough padding on the bottom. Binding toe straps don't fit the shape of the boots well, and take forever to get strapped in. Going back to Ronix...

The toe strap goes on top of the foot, not on toe.I changed the string holder thing to a better one. You have to pull and then push down on button on the stock ones. Like anything it takes practice I can get my board strapped on pretty sick, faster then other regular board.

I have the model year where it goes over the end of the boot. The next year it went over the top and I've heard of guys were swapping the straps. I do the push down on the lace lock thing and it still comes loose.

I will race you in my ronix boots. I have only 2 lace locks to do on each boot. You will have 2 lace locks and 2 straps.

Different strokes for different folks... Do you notice much heel lift with the Ronix bindings?

No heel lift. I have 2 boards that I ride, so the systems still see action and I will keep trying to make them work. Just wanted to complain and figured this was the place.

I asked about the heel lift cuz I cracked 2 base plates in Ronix bindings from the lift. My son rides the new system bindings and likes them. Previous years not so much. As for me I prefer and have had the best luck with LF bindings.
