compared to a boat without it - yep. FAE is much quieter.

All the sound waves are diverted underwater.

Boat ends up sounding like a real fat guy farting in the tub.

When she would drive, and I would sit on the back bench it would get really uncomfortable listening to the exhaust noise. On more than one occasion I would have to change seats. I can only imagine how bad it would've been for the kids back there.

Now, we can actually talk while at speed in a somewhat normal volume.
