    Default Fold assist

Hey guys do you know if there is a way to increase the spring tension for the fold assist. Now that I got the 3 some on the tower it is heavy.

Haha I wish it was that easy. To lift it and thread in the locking pins really sucks.

    Don't lower it?

    (hehehe - I'm with C&S - sorry!)
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

in an effort to help you out mark, mount the 3some on my tower and whenever you are close, I'll turn it up for you. best of both worlds. you hear the tunes and don't have to be bothered with the weight on the tower...

I'll be over tonight to pick it up.

Don't worry Mark, I'm with you, I need to know the answer to this question also. Ask FF, I briefly asked this question and it sounded like there was a spring that could be tightened in the gunnel area. Problem is that the spring assist doesn't seem to do much in the raised position, mostly helps hold the tower as it nears the dash level. I'm thinking I might need a rope from the tower tow point to the ski pylon to hold it while turning in the knobs.

Sounds awkward. How many times did you fall off getting the 3 some going up there?
