    I was thinking the exact same thing... either that or a flexible plastic clamp that goes over pipe and cut it to fit in between the front and back parts of the tower leg and clamp the cover inside it....

    Would love to do that too...just don't know where to get clamp like that...and it has to be easy to install...
    Any suggestion on how or what can be used as a flexible clamp?

    I just remember the plastic clamps we put on the hydraulic rams of our old bayliner to protect in case of the line blowing while in transport... something like that except bigger and a little softer
