Default Cockpit and tonneau cover leaking...

8 gallons of water.....just pumped 8 gallons of water with my shop vac after a heavy rain on my new Mondo. Kind of a lot..and every thing was dry before the rain, so it's not coming from seals or ballast...

And both cockpit and tonneau cover were in place....my dealer even made some mod to the overs so both fresh air intake are covered...

Anyone has experience something like that?? And what dud you do to correct it??

    Thanks!!

The covers are not 100% water proof.. so if the water sits on the cover it will seap through..if I don't put the poles up in mine I will pool water and I'll get lots of water in my boat as well

It runs down the windsheild under the snaps into the boat, a full mooring cover is the answer if it stays in the weather a lot, or get a cheap Walmart full cover for temporary use.

If you store your boat outside, you should always pull your drain plug out.

With my obv the drive sloped the wrong way so the water went to the bow area even with the jack as high as possible, and the water pooled in the bow, no plug up there. With the mojo and mondo it should slope better towards the drain plug.

Just remember to put plug in prior to launch

Where is it pooling so the bilge pump does not empty it?
