Portland / Vancouver 4th of July Fireworks from the water
So, it seems like a fair amount of members of this forum are actually local to the Portland area.
I’m trying to decide on whether to watch the 4th of July fireworks at Fort Vancouver or at Portland’s waterfront park. I’m thinking of watching them from the boat.
How was the view of the fireworks been from the Columbia River now that they’re launching from Pearson Airfield? I wish they were still doing the barge, that would be awesome from the boat.
Do you all have any insight on this?
What about the fireworks from the Willamette for the waterfront blues festival? I have seen pictures of that and it looks pretty crazy crowded on the water!
We just watched the Rose Festival opening fireworks from the boat on Friday night and it was a fantastic experience. So I'm thinking we might have to do one of the local shows from the water on Indepence Day.2008 Moomba Mobius XLV.
