    Default Registration Number Location

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to post pictures of their registration numbers on their boats. I would be especially interested in those with the distortion graphic scheme.

I just got my registration for my Mondo from the marine board and am trying to figure out the location so I can order letters. Location may impact style and color. The distortion graphics make the process a little more difficult. I am also trying to figure out whether I should be ahead of or behind the chrome vent. The Oregon Marine Board is a little vague on location. Thanks.

In OR you don't get much of an option. They have to go on the front of the nose, and they must be contrasting.

I like mine to look even on both sides so I used my grab rails as my point of reference.

Mike and spader, they would not fly in NY , has to contrast the hull colors and be readable 100 ft away in daylight .

Mine was difficult to see in the pic I sent with the lighting in the garage at night. Here is a better one.

I was concerned with mine being dark as well on a dark hull, but the chrome edging really pops in the daylight and I have had a couple Marine Patrols stop me for inspections and everything passes.

Sorry they are so strict in NY lol.
