Default Some pictures from a great Lake Powell trip

Took my son and some friends to Lake Powell for a quick 3 day trip and had a blast. The weather was nice and warm but the water is still a little cool. Took a lot of pictures so I thought I would share a few. Enjoy.

Heading that way the first week of June. Can't wait. I'm hoping the water temp starts to rise, but air temp should be just right.

My list also. How was the water level ? Is it considered normal right now? I had heard it was way down some time ago.

How did you nkow where it was safe to run?

the water level is about where it has been for the last several years. It's around 100 ft below the highest water level. It is raising right now and will start dropping again the end of the summer. If you stay in the middle of the main channels you are fine but as you get back to the end of the side canyons you have to be carful and go slow keeping an eye out for stuff just under the water.

I love Powell, I've been the last 2 years around July 4th. The town has a pretty good firework display. I'll be going next year for sure. The lake is huge and always a blast.

Here I am surfing down Navajo Canyon and jumping in the bay.
