Default Chrome Bilge and Ballast thru hull fittings

Has anyone changed out the black rubber thru hull fittings for ballast and bilge?
Anyone know what size they are? I am thinking 3/4" or 1".. but is at storage and may be a bit for I can get back over to look/measure.

    I found these at Overtons..

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks..

While I think they look nice those are chrome plated plastic fittings. They can be easily damaged. You would do better to find real Stainless Steel or Brass ones. Boaters World.com and West Marine sell them.

Most middle priced boats use the white plastic ones. My Proline has a zillion of them and they work fine. Now go spend your money on a Grady White and you get the real thing, of course that is why you pay 20k more! Yeah I just check, bronze 20 bucks for 3/4 and stainless 43 bucks. I am in the wrong business!

So I got the parts in this week. Spent the afternoon with her today.
Here is the result. Not a bad deal for $5 a piece. they are plastic but claim to be very durable/chip free. We'll see. Did all 4 in less than 1 hour. Wired in a couple more LED's today in the cockpit. tidied up the amp/sub wiring a bit, contemplated a impeller change.. admitted defeat and will schedule a service trip.

I like it, I'm going to try them as well, but for now just 3 weeks of racing left, and we're dropping clutches like there free or something
