Is this 01 Möbius a good deal?
I found this möbius today for $11500. I spoke with the owner, the interior is immaculate, some of it has been re-upholstered. Carpets are good, general wear and tear on the fibreglass, but no "damage".
It was inspected every year by the local marina (they are a mastercraft dealer, if I'm not mistaken).
Factory tower, wake plate, replaced steering cable and starter.
It all looks great except that it has 1500 hrs on it.

What are your thoughts guys? Is this a good deal?

I think you can work him down a ways. Most of the boats out there will not have quite so many hours. Most buyers will keep looking for a more desirable color and fewer hours.

The boat is a Canadian boat so $11,500 CAD would be approximately $10,500 USD. I still think some room to move due to the high number of hours on the boat. With the high hours, I would want to get someone to go over the boat and I would definitely want to take it out for a test.

I think there is a price to which all boats level out and $10K USD would be about it no matter what hours are on the boat.

Thanks guys, I think we've decided that if we upgrade from the outback, we will go with a vdrive and something newer.
The price sure caught my eye though....

I would want to know/see the service history on this besides test drive and having a mechanic look it over.
