Post order in certain forums
Why is it that in some forums, the posts show newest first and in others they show oldest first? I would think you'd want posts to show as newest first, and replies to the posts as oldest first. I know you can change the order for one of them in the settings. I've done this, and it works for the replies in the posts, but not the posts themselves.

Sorry - vBulletin can be kind of buggy. We've had other sections where posts disappear very quickly (archive) or always sort the display oldest first.
Specifically which sections are you referring to?So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

The one I noticed was showing weird was boat owners. Comes up with oldest threads first where in most others it is newest threads first.
