Default 2010 outback v swim platform questions

Today while on the lake my swim platform came off and sank to the bottom of the lake I guess. Noticed when we where surfing one side was lose so was trying to limp back to dock when the other side broke. First question is where can I get another one and second do they make a surf platform?

Sorry, I cant help you on a replacement other than calling your local dealer (I am sure you already thought of that), but that really sucks! a four year old boat and the platform falls off? WTF!

I have been working on a surf platform this weekend. I have some hydroturf on the way for a top pad.

Probably not a good alternative for your situation as your brackets are probably at the bottom of the lake.

    Used plywood encapsulated in fiberglass.

Did you check to make sure this isn't any damage to the transom?

Yea I did the transom is good. The pin on one side came out then the platform broke away from the other side bracket. On the bright side looks like I'll be getting a surf platform now. Lol

That surf platform looks a lot like the one that we made (as a prototype) for my boat. made a huge difference.

That said, YES, skier's choice does make a surf platform that you can buy OEM. IIRC, you'd be into it about $1000.
