Default Brand new swivel racks for sale

The handle makes it pretty easy to tighten, but there's really no answer to that question.

Default Brand new swivel racks for sale

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to pass. I did some research on those Yamaha racks and found that they are designed to use rubber gaskets. I don't think they will work well with the 2 3/8" rad-a-cage tower. Good luck with the sale.

Agreed.....if you wanted to go with the gaskets there really wouldn't be much room for them on a 2 3/8" tower.

For those of you still contemplating these racks, I have an assortment of sizes of the rubber gaskets that I have acquired over the years with other purchases that I could throw in if you need them or they can also be purchased separately if I don't have the size you need.

The two 1 7/8 mount racks are sold (thanks to Jake / beat taco for the tip on selling on Mastercraft Team Talk forum ) but the 2 3/8 mount rack is still available. Only $150 plus shipping....

    Damn, I guess I'm a day late and a dollar short. :-/

Swivel would have been nice. And I bet they would have worked fine with my 1 5/8 tower. Damn you Beat Taco for your suggestion.

Sorry about that, they would have worked perfect on the 1 5/8" tower. I was a good "Moomba soldier" and put them up here for a week first but got no takers....

...<in my best used car saleman pitch>...I still have the one rack with the 2 3/8" mount.......with a bit more shimming or larger rubber gaskets or swapping out for a smaller mount it might work for you!! And its even $25 cheaper at only $150 so you definitely can't beat the price. And I'll throw in a brand new shiny Ginzu knife.........OK, that a bit too much of a sales pitch -- you young guys probably never even heard of the famous (or infamous) Ginzu knives!!

Does the clamp basically attach to the base of the rack with a single bolt? It looks like there's a 2nd bolt. What does that do?

Also, I'd need to know how thick of board would fit in the forks. so the distance between the rubber cushions inside each fork.

And just for kicks and giggles, shipping price to 98685.

Now I've got you interested.... <best used car saleman laugh>

Seriously, you are correct -- one bolt (looks to be about 3/8") secures the mount to the rack. If you are asking about what looks like a second bolt that is black in the first pic that is just a rubber stop so the rack doesn't slam into or rub on the mounting arm.

The gap between the forks is about 1 1/8" -- plenty of room for a wakeboard and maybe enough for a surfboard depending on its thickness.

Shipping to that zip would be $29.

I'll have to go out and check the thickness of my surf boards and my current racks tonight.

Also, I can get shipping for *way* cheaper than that through my work. Would you be open to the idea of me mailing you a prepaid shipping label and you'd use that to ship? *you'd only need to drop it off at any location that handles fed-ex shipments.

What can I say, I'm a CPA and don't like paying extra if there's a more economical method.
