we actually got out on saturday and started messing around, the best wake for my boat, 750 rear locker filled, center bag full, 400lb on the surf side (middle) on the seat, and in the bow, surf side (on the seat). next time out, I am going to try putting some more weight in the (non surf side). The wake was pretty clean on either side doing this. we were trying out a new board, so we will need some more time on the water to keep playing with the wake.

We share the same hull..02 LSV and 06+ OBV
I run:
650 IBS
400 Center
400 Under Port Seat
750 Port Rear
300-750 near the port seat..
The biggest difference for me is water depth, the deeper the better...http://www.instgram.com/jlyons30

Handles? The boat goes where ever it wants, you just hope it's near where you want to go.

[QUOTE=Klos;241137]I've been thinking about doing the same thing. How does the boat handle the weight[/QUOTE
Its like a big heavy TUG BOAT! I had a hard time getting it on plane when we were going to another spot. it took alot of throttle to get it up to go... other wise it handles fine, you just need to be aware of how much weight you got in the boat. if you are just surfing and doing the 11 mph, you are fine. but with that much weight added, I wouldn't go across the lake like that if you weren't actually surfing. Def going to consider a different prop!B.J. Reed

I ran 750 rear, 400 center and 650 ibs with the standard prop in the OBV 07 and it handles sluggishly, plus be prepared for rollers with that nose weight in that boat.

That's what I kind of figure. I guess a prop will be there next purchase after I upgrade the ballast.
