Thread: New head unit

    Default New head unit

    I just replaced factory receiver with a Kenwood KMR 555U on my 07 LSV and I can't figure out how the wire from the driver control unit plugs into the back of the new head unit. Any ideas?

    Are they both Kenwood?

    Yes, both are Kenwood and use same wiring harness.

    It has been a couple of years since I wired mine up, but I believe it just plugs into a female pigtail off of the back of the HU. It kind of looks like an old S-Video connection.
