    I just got a call back from an owner of a house on the lake. I have corresponded with Will for over a year. He was planning on selling his house and did not want to accept rentals at the time we booked for this summer. He just told me he is keeping the house and wanted to see if we were interested in booking. I told him it was too late but I would share his link for others who might be planning on heading to Lake Martin this summer.     Wow. That's just ridiculous -- Lanier is huge. Martin has so many cuts and coves it makes for great boarding/surfing. The big water is nowhere near as big as Lanier (which means it's better for boats our size). Bad thing is there are very few ramps. Although, that probably keeps some people from launching which is probably a good thing overall.
