    Wiit,
    .
Insist on the price to include tax, title and prep. When I bought mine, with what I put down, the agreement was the price they quoted me included all of the above.
    .
    Hope that helps,

I agree with B. Make sure there are no surprises when you go to pick it up. There are also some small items that you may can get your dealer to throw in as part of the deal.

This has nothing to fo with the dealer, but remember insurance. Mine is about $400 a year for an 05 Mobius LSV. Shop around for companies that specialize in boat insurance.

    Clark,

Who do you have your insurance with? Progressive quoted me $773.00 a year. I am currently paying $405 a year for a 2000 SeaDoo Speedster with them.

paying 630 a year on my 05 supra ssv. i checked around and the best price i received was from ski safe but I have heard some bad stories about them when it comes to claims.

i have a insurance agency so i at least get 20% of my premium back in commision.

word of advice it to make sure you include some equip coverage for all your boards, skis and stereo stuff. those things tend to run away or at least get STOLE. i did some adding over last weekend of just boards and ropes and was over $1800 in that stuff alone.

I have Allstate and pay $430 for full replacement on my 05 outback. I didn't get coverage on any of my gear, as it is covered under my homeowners policy.

    Hope this helps.

BTW - it is finally warm enought in Reno to put the boat in. Lakes are filling up with runoff (BRRRRR.) Good thing I'm still sporting my winter weight

sweet i paid almost 900 Canadian for mine last summer... full replacement but, at the boat show there were agencies that were saying make sure you have coverage that pertains specially to pulling ..for water sports.

So Im looking into that now
Im like almost 1000 to insure the boat for 4 months when it isnt in storage! suh weet!

of course last year when I bought it I didnt care either cause I just wanted the boat that was it!

    Gapman,

I got mine thru Ski Safe. I got the name from a close friend that has a Nautigue. He has used them for years. USBoat insurance was a close second. Ski Safe offered a full replacement, not pro-rated, for the first 36 months.

I checked about 10 companies and they were the best. I hope I never need to call their claims department.

$435/year on our '05 Mobius LSV with Allstate. That is for full replacement on the boat and trailer and includes a rider for $1500 in gear.
