Gas Used this Last Year
I find it very disappointing that I only used nine hundred and thirteen dollars worth of gas this year. Will try to do better next year.

That's what I'm saying, I am way behind. Hope to do better this year but hoping my wife will get a kidney this year so that might put me back a little.

We actually put more hours on the Mojo this year then any other summer we have had.
Surprisingly though we put less on it at Lake Powell this past summer then we normally do at LBC. Weather was a big issue at Powell this year.
Fuel in the boat Axp 1400 since we burn an ave of 3.5gph and pay average of 4 a gallon.
Fuel in truck for the summer no idea but for the AZ Wedding trip pulling the boat to Phoenix, then Powel, then Phoenix, then back home
Milage apx 3600 average Diesel price was 4a gallon = 1300
Plus a new set of tires on a new dam boat = 700
Just that was 3400 over the summer, now factor in the 2 local trips we take and regular boat towing and i think you would come up with another 600 in diesel.
Grand total about 4Gs for summer transportation. I expect this summer to be 2-3G since i have 10 straight weeks off work this summer and I plan to spend as much on the lake as possible. I think if I'm not getting at least 4days a week on the water I'm not soing something right LOL.Malo <--- Means--Evil or Mean One. This explains a lot.

Interesting ...Jack spends on average $9 per hour on gas , Mike spends on average $14 per hour. Maybe Jack idles a lot? Maybe Mike shuts his boat off a lot or maybe he has to travel further to the sweet spots. But it does appear both used their boats 100hrs last summer and Mike's consumption is 50% more than Jack's!!! There fore Jack has more beer money oh wait, maybe Mike carried more beer in his boat? Who do you want to ride with???
