Best hitches around...3"-10" drop, swivel ball mounts, and a ton of different options. I have 3 different ones, all have been great! Check out the website and the video with Stacey David.

I'm a fan of Harbor Freight but I always say its for the once in a while tool, not the everyday tool.
What makes me worried about the HF hitch is the small diameter of the steel and the little brace from the tongue to the drop. Too weak IMO.
The receiver and ball is not the place to save money. Just like your tow rig, it should be set up to tow more then you need, your hitch needs to be able to handle more then you need.
I personally love my weight distribution hitch because its big beefy, and has room for my rock shield, I hate that it weights nearly 80lbs though.
Here is a list of lots a good hitches, and they start cheaper then your looking at and go up the line in price.

Finally picked up that drop hitch and got the swivel-loc off ebay for a steal at $120 (including shipping). That was about $70 cheaper than I saw anywhere else so I was a bit worried, but it showed up today and its the real thing and quite beefy weighing in at 25 lbs. Anyone looking for that model may want to jump on this deal!!

Not sure how much a deal it is, but you can also get the regular hitch model (non-drop) for $92
