DIY surfgate
Used to own a SAN and still have membership to Planet Nautique they sent me a newsletter with some links the one I have attached is of a guy who built a surfgate system for his Nautique awesome work by this individual someone needs to start doing something like this for the Mobius.

Hopefully a company will see the potential in the market and start making these for older boats.

Yeah, I saw this on WW. Very impressive fabrication skills.
I think as long as he doesn't try to sell it or profit off of it, it is legal to do that. Maybe?

Legal? You can do whatever you want to your own boat as long as you don't hurt anyone or create a monstrosity that will get you ticketed by the boat cops. When you start profiting from another's idea is when you get into expensive civil litigation and remedies.

Guys, I am picking up my new to me Mobius LSV today, I've imported it from Cal, and it's going to have surf plates installed ASAP. I'll keep you posted.
