Default Just got the new board

Just got the new board. Seems like it should be a good all around starter board. Has anyone ridden a IS Tako?

Looks very similar to the IS Squirt, which IMHO has been all around one of the best boards I've been on. Love the color too!

Make sure to report back on it!
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

I've ridden one a few times and it is a great all around board. Loosened up pretty when with just the center fin in, and was nailed down with the two on the outside. Quick and responsive but stable enough for beginners. I think you'll be very happy with it.

That makes me think a couple of jokes..... none of which I can post here.

    It's - 5’0” x 20” x 1” - 8 lbs.
says the recommended weight is 70lbs. to 250+lbs. depending on wake size. (The family weight will run from about 95# - 200#. This seems like it should be a good fit for starters. It also has a pretty easy price tag.

Looks like they are very similar. Glad to hear you like your IS Squirt that much.

    Hi,

I' am looking at the exact same board for my family. In regards to its performance from what I've been reading about it seems to me alot of the performance is tied to the size of your wake. Are you planning on using the stock ballast in the Mondo? If so you may have to hang onto the rope while you surf. I'm in the same position as you where I just bought a left over Mojo and I have the stock gravity 3 ballast and I am trying to figure out which board to go with. Let the forum know how this board works when you get to try it out.
