Board Recommendation
My opinion is, no. Others will say you can get a boat board such as the Hyperlite Broadcast or Liquid Force Doum. Can both of them ride these? Sure, but neither will be proficient. To me it's as simple as anything else. You wouldn't have them use the same size snow skis, tennis racket or running shoes, would you?
Check out a P5 Luv or Prop for your wife and a Scamp for your daughter or inland Surfer Caro for the wife and Ooze for your daughter.Last edited by wolfeman131; 11-28-2013 at 10:45 PM.

Board Recommendation
We have the Cortez now, and nobody really likes it - it's just too big.
I like the idea of the Scamp for my 7yo, but would the Icon be better for my wife looking at the weight limit of 155 vs 190? I could see doing the 48" LUV, but she had a really good birthday and will have a good Christmas as it is . Boardco seems to have really good pricesMatt

The Icon would be a nice choice as your 7 yr old could/would grow into that one.

Board Recommendation
Finally got around to finishing my order tonight. Evo had an inventory issue on the icon, so I upgraded her to the Luv. Evo gave me a nice discount for the trouble though.
I'll have to figure out a board for me now after the first of the year.Matt

Re: Board Recommendation
Stay in the P5 family as you'll see, they are very well made boards. The Model X is one of my favorites.
