    Default Battery cable question

I got mine online from a place recommended by Razzman I think. I will see info can dig up the name.

if you don't find anything else, I bought bulk cable from Knukonceptz online and took it to the local interstate battery dealer. they put ends on for $3 each. enabled me to cut the cable to the exact length needed and then get the ends put on. I really like their cable and price seemed to be good.

A local battery shop could do it like SandM says. When I relocated I had to buy a bunch of new/heavier cable and price-wise the local battery shop was pretty close to what I could find on-line per ft. Kinda like to support the small local guys when I can and always nice to walk in and walk out a few min later with it in your hands ready to go. Pretty sure welding cable and battery cable are interchangeable when you get to the heavy gauge but they could give you the lowdown.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

This is really the best solution. Its very hard to accurately measure what a cable length light be once its laid in place, anchored down and connected to the battery. If your estimate is short, you're out the expense. If its long, then you have some thick heavy cable slack to put somewhere. Over estimate and buy the cable and ends. Then lay the cable in, cut and then attach the ends.
