Default No Power on MB Quart

Stereo switch will light up, but no power on the MB Quart. Checked fuse and looked fine. Any ideas?

If you have a a wired remote on the transom try disconnecting it. When they get wet they foul up the headunit.

Elaborate on " no power on the MB Quart" if you can. Do you mean the turn-on rocker lights up but the head-unit does not, or do you mean you are using a volt meter at the back of the head-unit and do not have B+ where you think you should?

The helm mounted rocker supplies voltage to the head-unit's red turn-on wire, but does not actually power the head-unit. This is done via constant B+ and GND on the head-units yellow MEM and black GND wires. All 3 are needed for the head-unit to power up.

Basically I flip the rocker switch to turn the stereo on. The LED for the rocker switch is on, but the MB Quart doesn't turn on. No lights, no music, no response?

A couple of simple checks with a basic volt meter are in order. You will quickly determine if the problem is the head-unit or upstream in the power supply.

They obviously bumped something loose if it worked before they changed the USB cord., could be power, remote or ground that came loose.
