Default ***On water - wake plate issue***

Need a little troubleshooting help. Wake plate won't move. Makes noise when I try to move down, no noise when I try to move up.

I just installed my FAE. During installation I removed the bolt joining the ram to the plate for wrench clearance, but I didn't unplug any electric cables or anything like that. And there is nothing restricting the plate from moving - there is plenty of clearance.

    Any thoughts?

had to fill mine typically once a season. messy job.

invest in a good funnel that fits it and fill slowly.

Your sig says '10 LSV. If so it is electric ram not hydraulic. Maybe it was going out and you noticed while working on the FAE

Default UPDATED: ***On water - wake plate issue***

Could not find a reservoir to fill. Weird thing is it began working once I had the boat listed, but as soon as I emptied the sacs it wouldn't work again. This leads me to believe it is a low fluid issue, but mcdye says I should have an electric ram so fluid wouldn't matter. Now I'm super confused on where to start.

Does it have 1 cylinder connecting the plate the hull or two?
