Lol.... I know that now..... But I have seen outback surfing.... And I have been on stock mastercraft X45 and it didn't have as good and clan wake as I see in some of the pics and vids.....

So thanks but I need another year or two before re purchasing..... Unless I find a perfect deal..... So I need advice on optimizing what I have...

Load it down with a lot of ballast, wherever you can fit it. When surfing, bias the surf side with the most weight.

In my old Launch DD, I would put all my sacs stacked on top of eachother on the left side of the boat. When wakeboarding, I'd just even them out.

Can you describe your technique for standing and riding backwards? I'm always trying to learn new stuff.

Remember, it was on my big blue SUP...never tried it on my regular board lol. It was like 20 minutes in ever surfing that board (it was just after we shot that video). When the boat takes off, you're of course already just floating on the SUP because it's so big and buoyant. I stand facing forward with feet shoulder width and pointing at the nose of the board, and hold the rope off to the side in my right hand. Once the wave develops I pull myself forward in front of it, and then I toss the rope and switch my stance to a normal riding stance.

So when I went to go backwards, I just went from my normal riding stance and kind of put my feet at an angle at first by moving my right foot back and my left foot forward. I turned my head and shoulders around to face backward at that point to try and get a feel for my balance while facing backwards. Then I just took my right foot and swung it back in line with my left, and was facing backward, feet side by side not one in front of the other (opposite of how I start). It was touchy because everything was flip flopped. When I went to turn back around, I actually kind of just jumped back around really fast.

I was more just doing silly things, and suprisingly they were working! Next I'll try a headstand or somthing...but the problem is I can't even do one on the ground I don't think, so it should turn out pretty funny to watch.
