No top end past 30 mph
2011 LSV, 325hp, fuel injected. Boat starts fine, idles fine, temps are normal, oil pressure normal. It will accelerate up to 30 mph no problem but when I hit the throttle down, nothing happens. It feels like the cruise is on but its not. I can decelerate no problem, it just wont go over 30 mph. Normally we get around 40 mph top end, this just started happening this weekend.
Any ideas? Anyone else have this issue before?2016 Mondo Surf Edition

I put in a bottle of fuel dryer (HEET) and it seems to be running better. I can get full rpm's now but it still dies once in a while when I decelerate fast. I'm hoping the fuel had moisture in it. Im sure we'll find out this weekend once we put new gas in the boat.

Maybe try to find some ethanol free fuel.

Out of curiosity, what if you set cruise to 40 and have cruise on?

Almost a year late and I'm having the same problem. Boat starts ok, usually. Once in a while it just turns over and turns over. I can turn the key off and back on and it starts right up. It idles ok and drives ok at lower rpms. Once you try to get above 3500 rpm's it just bogs out and backfires once in a while. Last year I changed the plugs, wires and distributor cap. Now Im thinking it may be a fuel issue. I thought I read this boat does not use a fuel filter or its not serviceable ? Any suggestions?

Definitely has a fuel filter and my guess is that is the issue you are having. Look on the starboard side of the vdrive compartment. They are $12 at napa and I change every year after the first full tank of gas has been run through in the spring.

My manual says it has an in tank fuel filter that is not serviceable?? Could there be another one or is that a change on newer models ?

No fuel filter on the 11. I've read the manual too and have followed the line from the tank to the rail.
