Wow, a 383 stroker! That reminds me of the old Malibu Corvette boat that came with the Calloway 383 supernatural package. I bet that motor is unreal in your boat. Just out of curiosity and if you don't mind me asking, how much did something like that set you back?

No I don't mind the questions. I bought most of the parts for the upgrade from Summit Racing. It came to about $1200. However let me add that I [ulled and replaced the motor myself. A friend of mine builds motors for his flatbottom race boats and did the machine work and assembly for me (saving me lots of cash that way).
It does run quite well and my wife, read main driver, said that she had to learn how to drive the boat all over again. On the first pull of the year she had me up to about 30 or 35 before she neew it.
Thanks for the kind words on this project. It turned out really well and we really enjoy our boat.
