Surfing Outback DD
Does anyone have experience surfing a Outback DD? How do you set up ballast? I have a 900lbs bag and a 600lbs bag. Just want to see if its worth buying a board before a new boat for next season. Thanks

id put the 900 across the rear and the 600 along the dog house, your rubrail at rest will be about in the water and the boat will not handle like your used to so be carefull with waves washing over the rear corner. not the best boat to surf with but it can be done, just be safe when you do it.

Also, add more people, coolers, or more ballast any where else in the boat.
