Boat Cover Help

Any tips on extending the life of a factory cover and protection. I have looked at the 303 products, any thoughts on them or others? Any thing to extend the life of factory covers. I'm sure this cover will last longer than the other cheaper covers but the others would start leaking a little and start to mild (just the cover, not in the boat) after only a year and a half or so.

Any tips on extending the life of a factory cover and protection.

I have one of Cory's Evolution covers and love it.

It may sound kind of dumb, but I will cover it with a simple blue tarp to keep the UV (and cats!!!!!) off of it during the summer as I still haven't built my boat garage and I don't usually put the boat in the vette garage until winter. The blue tarps hardly last one year out in the sun.
