    Default Good starting point with ballast and wake plate,

    I have 1800 lbs ballast and wake plate what's a good setup for surfing or starting point, I have no clue how to setup the wake plate

    you want it in the bow up position, as your going along move it and you can see how the wake changes

    Start with all the way up. As you add weight up front you will see the pocket lengthen. You can help it by dropping the plate down to around 3/4. But you do need the weight.
