    Default Perfect Pass display interchangeability

I have a PP Wakeboard Pro mechanical system, but the screen keeps fading, although the system still works.

My friend has given me a display from a DBW system, so the connector is different althought the displays are the same.

I want to test my system with his display.

Is this possible? Is there a connector adaptor available between the two?

Or do i have to cut the wires and reconnect the new display to the old module harness?

Perfect Pass contacted but they do not have an adaptor available.

I read a few posts about these gauges, apparently moisture may be to blame.

So, at the weekend, I took a hairdryer and blew hot air into the back of the gauge, then stuffed loads of silca gel in there, and taped the back up so no air could get in.

Fingers crossed, its been fine since....

I was told that at low voltage, the system will still work, but the screen will not fully illuminate. I had this problem once and at the end of the day, my battery had recharged, the screen was fine. New battery and it's worked well since.
