Ive got a knotted one for sale if you want to try it out. We use these all the time, and we use them for deep water starts as well. Cant hurt to try for this price if youre just curious.

That is what we use too and it's my favorite design. Handles make it easier for the newbs but braided ropes are easy to throw to the rider and then back at the boat without knocking heads or gelcoat.

the mini handle works better for the kids, IMO. Some of those knotted ropes are really heavy.
