tower speakers ?
I'm looking to buy tower speakers for my '05 Outback. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good set of speakers that doesn't require me taking out a second mortgage to buy?

E-Bay has some killer deals at the "Buy It Now" prices. My experience w/ them has been excellent. I got a replacement Kenwood CD player w/ MP3 capabilities for $126 (regular list for $330).
.
Hope this helps

Has anyone had experience with tower speakers from "Liquid Audio Sounds". They are often advertised on EBay and the price almost looks too good be true. The speakers look to be of good quality and their feedback is good. However, You usually get what you pay for.

I think the cans on the liquid audio stuff are plastic, not aluminum. That is why they are less expensive. Although, not 100% positive on that, it seems I've read somewhere on / in their ads they were made from 'molded plastic'. You may want to check.

I bought a set from Audioformz. They seem to be really well built, but I have not installed them yet. I purchased their 6 3/4 polk speakers. I was really pleased with their craftsmanship, Everybody that has bought them says they sound great! A few people left good feedback for them. Here is their website.
You can buy them loaded or unloaded.

Hey I appreciate the feedback. I will definately check out these options. I'm curious what specials might be at the Dallas Boat Show in a few weeks.

I'll definately keep you posted. I want to get somethin done before spring hits so I'm not trying to rush the install. Let me know any tricks you learn during the install.
