Default Rear compartment hinges - help

Trying to get a mod finished and not having much luck in the hinge department.

Can anyone tell me whether your rear storage compartment hinges are stainless or aluminum?

I was looking for smaller butt hinges but think I'm going to have to go with a piano hinge instead, similar to what I've seen on newer boats like this.

Also looking for approximate dimensions of the flat hinge side that is anchored to the hull (height), and the L shape side that is anchored to the bottom of the sun deck cushion. I don't really want the hinge pin sticking out past the cushion if possible, but also don't want it binding up every time it is opened and closed.

    Thanks!
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Bump- Got a few better pics from Jake so I know what I'm looking for but not having much luck finding the hinges outside of possibly the dealer.

    Anyone?

I don't think the ebay one will work- too small/short. I've looked at dozens on Great Lakes Skipper that may be close.

The perfect fit one is looking pretty good - and it's local!

BUMP - still searching... Ordered one that took for friggin ever to get shipped - literally a month. Ended up being too thick and the flat edge too long. I tried cutting it down and even flipping the hinge faces. Beat the crap out of the thing and it still won't work.

Looking for one offset piano hinge or even a pair of smaller offset hinges per side. Need to be about 2" high on the flat side, same on the L or offset side.... Local dealer wasn't much help without a part number to start with. Not a hardware or marine store within 50 miles has been much help either.

Any ideas? Maybe try to snag a part number off a similar year Supra (Jake?) with the 3 piece rear cover or slightly newer LSV with about the same hull...

Sorry I am slow to post but this was just brought to my attention. The picture at the top looks to be for a Supra 242. If this is correct, it is our part number for the hinge is 100586. It is a stainless steel hinge, 2 12" H x 24" L.

    Thanks Jon!

    Was that 2.5" height?

I'm guessing this same hinge is used across a lot of different models...?

Yes, 2.5". We have used this on quite a few models over the years.
