Left Rear Ballast won't fill
It empties perfectly fine. I have a 2009 Moomba XLV. The Ballast system says Gravity on it (I assume that's the Manufacturer). The pump turns on and acts like its filling for about 5 seconds then shuts off.
My assumption is that if there was a clog somewhere it wouldn't empty. I was hoping to WakeSurf on Fathers Day yesterday when my Ballast wouldn't fill. The hose coming out of the pump takes a quick right turn ( its kind of Crimped) to get to the Bag Compartment...A questionable design flaw...Any Thoughts out there of what this could be. Thanks..

Re: Left Rear Ballast won't fill
Could be a kink in the line or an obstruction in the pump. All the other bags fill OK?
PWI as usual...

If the ballast is the same as my 2008, there was only one pump to fill.
The pump had three solenoid sprinkler valves.
Is this the same setup you have, or did the 2009 have dedicated pumps?

You say that the pump shuts off, or it just stops filling?
I'd pull the solenoid valve apart and clean it out. blow all the ports out and wipe the slime out of it. Just spin it off the manifold. unthread the black solenoid then unscrew the six screws.
Heres a how to.
