    Default Finally went rope less!!

Big thanks to everyone here giving great advice on weighting the boat correctly and the do's and don'ts of wake surfing! Big shout out to Mike, Kane, Moombadaze, Erik (E4Nash) for all the PMs. After finally going rope less and actually tossing the rope in the boat I may just give up wake boarding all together haha

    Surf Set Up
    1100lb surf side rear
    400lb where cooler was removed
    400lb center ski locker
    400lb in floor of bow

    Boards
Hyperlite Broadcast - what I learned on
Ronix Koal 5.0 (surf style) - current board

No pic without the actual rope tho! I know, I know... "If there's no pics, it didn't happen..."

My camera man was too busy watching and trying to learn, which he did!!! We had him up and surfing in 3 tries on the broadcast, it was great!!!

Thanks guys! Yes, fun stuff once you really start learning how to handle your board!

Wolfe - I'm way too cheap to spend $55 on a surf rope, but I do like the idea of a T handle

Maybe I can break this old ski rope up, braid it, and fix the handle into a T...

Awesome man, now it just gets easier and easier because you know what it feels like.

Yes! The hardest part was figuring out how much you have to lean forward... Not too much that you start nose diving, but enough to feel awkward being a wakeboarder! Haha

Yes Exactly you almost feel like your going to catch the edge at any moment but your not LOL. That's why i like to say if you feel like your really leaning on the nose move your back foot forward as well, because then your whole weight shifts forward and it also keeps you from mashing your back foot on the brake and falling out of the wave.
