    Default GoPro Mounts

Any one use the suction cup on their wakeboard? I am curious if it is strong enough to hold up or should I go with the surf mounts?

I don't trust it and didn't want anything permanent stuck to the board. so I drilled 2 holes in the plate that the Gopro come mounted to in the box and run the screws through that and into the removable fins. Works great, can move cam to all corners of the board easily.

We used the flat advesive mounts and it stays on. We did improvise with the float attachment and a home made lanyard. You can see the results at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MG8oEqB2Q2c.

Yea, I bought the actual surf mounts yesterday it's suppose to come with a separate adhesive with a tether cord for a back up also going to run over to best buy and grab one of those floating back doors. How fast are you riding in the video? It looks like y'all are really moving.

The boat is probbaly going 19 mph. The video was sped up for the "coolness" facter. BTW, if you want to invest in the harness it is also pretty good:

That was a harnass with an exta tether just in case. I fell alot, and there was no issue.
