    Default Gauge problem

    Well I had my boat out for the first time after dark and when I turn on my nav. lights my fuel gauge pegs out on the full side, any suggestions

    Sounds like you have a grounding / power issue on the gauge. It almost sounds like when you hit the switch its sending power to the signal wire for the gas tank level switch. I would make sure that you have solid grounds all the way back to the battery from your gauge. You can cause ground loops pretty easy in a boat if you don't have a solid ground.
