YEAH!!! My GF and I expect to be off work this summer, so we and any friends with flexible schedules will be on the lake on any chance we get. GF just got her boat operator's licence. So did my older nephew, so there's always an alternate driver handy.

A few years ago when I was single and had a cottage rented, my buddy showed up unexpectedly with six ladies. That was a fun day, on and off the boat. Before anyone jumps in to ask: yes, there was a bikini swordfight on the lawn, as you do.

I dunno. Maybe you guys are doing it wrong...

I don't like burning gas towing the tube much so we tend to make the beatings quick and painful.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

Be sure your tube rope is rated for your tube. Had a nasty experience when a tube rope snapped and sling shot back into the boat hitting my daughter in the chest. She was wearing a life jacket but it still knocked the breath out of her and brused her pretty bad.

Sorry, kids. Cruise got stuck on 40 MPH and then my hat blew off so I had to turn around real fast to go get it before it sank. Hope you're all OK though. Now who's up for more tubing?

Haha, the girls we not good at taking pictures and they were definitely harder on us than we were them. We tried to make a game out of who had the most beer in their can at the end of the ride and there was no clear winner after Heidi launched us in the the air upside down...

Exactly! We take the tube out first thing when we get to the lake. Wear out everyone that dosent do board sports for the day at the beginning and then I can surf to my hearts content.

Is this part of a strategy?

    Come cruising out to glass
Blow up the tube and tie her on
Start up the figure 8's until everyone is pissed and leaves the area.
    Stop, deflate tube
Have a cold one while whitecaps die down.
Begin boarding on your new private lake..
    Hmmmmm.
