    Default New Tower bimini installed

I installed my new tower bimini this weekend and I'm supper pleased with the outcome. John at Tower Bimini does a great job and has great customer service as well. It is 7 feet 2 inches long, plenty of shade for arizona.

Looks sharp. Very nice. Does it fold up at all or is that pretty much a solid mount - either on or off?
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

The top folds up into a boot and ties up to the front of tower. Just like the OEM bimini. All you have to do is remove 4 pins and roll it up into the boot. Sorry I didn't any pictures of that.

Ah - just curious, hard to tell on that one. My new one does not go off the back of the tower at all - snaps down on the rear tower bar. I was worried about the rope putting pressure on it from the tow point if it were hanging back. Not sure how long it actually is but definitely not 7ft!

I had the same set up on my 04 Outback from TowerBiminis! Loved it!! Never had an issue with the rope! That back piece from the last bar on the tower back can be pushed up or down to sit however you would like, which we bent down when pulling each other and bent it flat when lounging around! Mine was so big and covered me so well from the drivers seat I never even got burnt last year... True story! Not sure how I feel about that... 😎

Ha. Great stuff. Nice bimini too. Shade is under-rated.

I like the length. I just started looking for something similar, did you take your boat to them or were they able to build this and ship it to you? Is that a custom order to get that fit and length?

Actually John from Tower Bimini took the measurements from another boat near him that was the same model. Now he has the pattern so he can make more of them. I used this Bimini a few times and I love it. Provides a lot of shade and it is a solid top. I'm very happy with the product.
