Default Actual IBS Weight In Outback V

Anyone know the actual weight an IBS will be in the bow of an OBV. The sac measures 12" high, but the base of the seats in the OBV are only about 10" high, so I know that the IBS will not fill completely. I would like to know because I would like to completely remove the center sac and just use the IBS along with the 750's in the rear lockers.

    Thanks
    Joe

Has anyone used an IBS without using the center sac?

Why don't you want to use the center bag?

My whole family skis. I lost all my storage with the addition of my 750's in the rear. I cut out the cooler so I could store some skis under the passenger seat. I found out last weekend that the boat needs more weight in the front, but I have a bunch of stuff stored there. I want to move that stuff under the passenger seat, and put the skis in the ski locker to make room for the IBS.

Good idea, but problem is that tower will already be full with 2 wakeboards, 1 surfboard, and 1 kneeboard. Plus, ski rack only holds 2 skis, and I carry 5.

throw on a Monster Cargo bimini for the wakeboards & surfboard, racks on both sides to the skis and double up on onse sie w/ a rack for the kneeboard. That leaves only 1 ski without a home.

Thank you for allowing me to spend your money foolishly.

Isn't that the reason for this forum? It's all about spending other people's money.

I have been thinking about the same issue. Does anyone out there have a 3 rack set-up? I was thinking about adding the ski rack to my existing swivel board racks on my 2012 OBV. Will that be too crowded or hard to access?
If someone had a picture, that would be awesome.
