Re-upholstery cost?
On average what have you guys paid to have the vinyl redone in an open bow ski boat? My buddy is looking to get his 99 pro air nautique DD done in a plain and simple off white vinyl without any accent colors or patterns. The foam is in good condition so only needs the skins. Thanks

If you do all the removal and just get your upholstery guy to make the new covers from the (saved) old ones and then you put it all back it can be done for around 600-700. Otherwise it will be closer to $2000 - 3000.

A full interior will run about $3500 +/- a little bit. That will vary based on location. Check out Viper Customs, they do excellent work.
Pulling everything yourself, sending it off to get done and then doing the install will save a ton. However, if you make a mistake, it will cost you.
I redid most of an interior and purchased a new seat from Overtons . I found it to look good and was budget friendly. I think I had about $900 into it. That was in the late 90s.1997 MasterCraft 205

Re-upholstery cost?
Thanks for the replies. He was quoted $3k at a local upholstery shop including new carpet. It seemed high to me considering no pattern on the seats/sunpad but I've never priced boat interiors. The shop did some auto upholstery work for me and did a good job at a reasonable price and sounds like they are in the ballpark on his quote. Thanks again!

That sounds like a bargain if it includes install of the new carpet.

If you are worried about patterns, ask for a colored thread or do some colored piping. The interior will look very clean, but still have something that breaks it up.
