blowingg out the water
do you guys blow out the water in the engine when you pull the boat out of the water?

Pardon me if I sound silly, but ... "how do you mean?" Are you talking about running the engine dry and letting the pumps expell what is in the lines ? Or are you talking about blowing it out some other way? I think the idea of running the water pumps dry has been discussed here a few times and is pretty much "bad"... as in "very". The impellers need to be lubricated, and runinng them with no water allows for self destruction pretty quickly...
Why remove the water from them lines anyway ? It will eventually seep out, won't it ?
