Default Ballast switches - New install..

Where are the factory or best place to install the ballast switches on a LSV aka Outback?

Seems like everywhere you can place them they can be bumped... I have a pod of 4...

My OBV had six switches in this order: NAV/ANC, COURT, BILGE, STEREO, DOCKING, and BALLAST. I removed the COURT and DOCKING switches. I wired those into the ANC side of the NAV/ANC switch. I moved the STEREO switch over to the COURT switch spot. Now I have LEFT BALLAST, CENTER BALLAST, and RIGHT BALLAST on the right side of all the switches.
Very easy to do, and did not require any cutting.

Dang good idea. How often does anyone leave an "anchor" light on anyway? I would guess you'll use the "ballast" switches much more often.

I was thinking the same as Joe. If nothing more, move the switches you hardly ever use to another location, maybe below the throttle. I love having the ballast on the right side of the dash in the Mojo.

I went through same debate couple years ago.

Ended up right here and only bumped on accidentally once in last 2 years.

So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

After seeing Berg's install and trying to use the stock location for one season (horrible location) I switched mine up higher...Not really worried about bumping them...

You REALLY sure about that? You change your mind and I'm pretty sure a replacement dash panel / gauge cluster for a 2002 would be really hard to come by... You'll be stuck with a big hole.
